Blanca Berlín presenta en el Fondo de Galería una selección de las obras más icónicas de Xavier Miserachs y Ricard Terré, referentes destacados de la mejor fotografía española de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.

Desde sus primeras fotografías, Xavier Miserachs (Barcelona 1937-1998) trascendió el universo de lo aparente, para ofrecer una visión analítica de la realidad, llena de sensibilidad y sabiduría. No obstante, siempre se mantuvo dentro de los ámbitos de un documentalismo respetuoso con lo real, haciendo verdad aquella afirmación suya de que en las fotografías no sólo debe expresarse el fotógrafo, sino también la propia realidad. La forma de trabajo de Ricard Terré (Sant Boi de Llobregat, 1928 – Vigo, 2009 está más cerca de la creación intuitiva que del oficio que se ejecuta con un método repetitivo. Su material de trabajo no son los acontecimientos que atropellan el sentido de la existencia, sino lo emotivo de las cosas y la belleza que destilan en su quietud y perdurabilidad. (Laura Terré).

From his first photographs, Xavier Miserachs (Barcelona 1937-1998) transcended the universe of the apparent in order to offer an analytical vision of reality, full of sensitivity and wisdom. However, he always remained within a documentary vision of reality, making true his statement that not only the photographer should express himself in the photographs, but also reality itself. The way of working of Ricard Terré (Sant Boi de Llobregat, 1928 – Vigo, 2009) is closer to intuitive creation than to method itself.
