A través de refinadas intervenciones técnicas en el laboratorio, como si fuera una alquimista, FLORE da forma tanto como restaura el mundo que se despliega ante sus ojos para hacer imágenes únicas que se alejan de la realidad fotográfica convencional, creando una fusión entre contenido y forma. Así, cuestiona el medio fotográfico pasando con facilidad de las técnicas más antiguas como el platino-paladio o la cianotipia a las más modernas, a veces mezclándolas e interviniendo físicamente en las impresiones con cera, oro o pigmentos. FLORE se dedica totalmente a la búsqueda de la memoria y produce imágenes “no sensacionales» que intentan recrear la verdad en lugar de una realidad que poco a poco se desvanece.
Ganadora del Premio de Fotografía Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière en colaboración con la Academia de Bellas Artes y del Premio Nadar. Recibió la Carte Blanche de la ciudad de París.
Through refined technical interventions in the laboratory, as if she were an alchemist, FLORE both shapes and restores the world that unfolds before her eyes to make unique images that depart from conventional photographic reality, creating a fusion between content and form. Thus, he questions the photographic medium by moving easily from older techniques such as platinum-palladium or cyanotype to more modern ones, sometimes mixing them and physically intervening in the prints with wax, gold or pigments. FLORE is totally dedicated to the search for memory and produces «non-sensational» images that attempt to recreate the truth rather than a gradually fading reality.
Winner of the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière Photography Prize in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts and the Nadar Prize. Recipient of the Carte Blanche of the City of Paris.
