La sociedad del siglo XXI ha creado sus propios canales de acoso y descrédito, mostrándose muy eficaces en la acusación, juicio y lapidación de los Neo-Herejes, personas que por su sexo, nacionalidad, forma u opinión se convierten en diana de críticas, amenazas o burlas, tanto en redes sociales como en su entorno. Sólo como dato, 7 de cada 10 jóvenes declaran haber sufrido algún tipo de acoso, lo que pone de manifiesto la efectividad de estos canales y la crueldad de la naturaleza humana. En esta era digital, las prácticas inquisitoriales en la red se expanden utilizando la tecnología para inocular el virus del odio y la vergüenza, amparados en el anonimato y utilizando técnicas como el ciberbullying o el sexting. Y es que todo vale para la caza del Neo-Hereje.

Las copias se realizan en laboratorio con la técnica de Marrón Vandyke, desarrollada en el S.XIX, que emplea el citrato férrico junto al nitrato de plata para sensibilizar el papel proporcionando unas imágenes en tonos marrones que recuerdan las gamas de ocres y marrones de Vandyke.

Copies are made in the laboratory with the Vandyke technique, developed in the 19th century, which uses iron citrate together with silver nitrate to sensitize the paper, providing images in brown tones that recall the ranges of ocher and brown of Vandyke.
